🎃🍂 It’s Pumpkin Season at Tavon Learning Center! 🍂🎃

Our members have been making the most of fall with trips to local pumpkin patches, creative pumpkin carving adventures (with a little "help" from our curious chickens 🐔🎃), and enjoying delicious roasted pumpkin seeds fresh from the pumpkins!

We love celebrating the season through hands-on activities, sensory experiences, and plenty of smiles. Fall memories are being made one pumpkin at a time! 🧡🍁

Yesterday, Tavon paused regular programming for our semiannual all-staff training day! 🎨💙 We kicked things off with some team bonding and pottery painting at Mudhouse Pottery Painting before diving into a full day of learning.

Our team reviewed important member care information, welcomed Melanie Cates from SHINE Co. for a training on cultural brokerage and person-centered values, and completed a workshop on leading engaging activities for our members.

We're grateful for opportunities to learn, connect, and invest in the incredible team that makes Tavon's mission possible every day.

Salmon Days was a splash-tastic success! 🐟✨

We had an amazing time connecting with families, making new friends, meeting neighbors, and sharing all the great things happening at Tavon.

And yes... we got to meet the one and only Sammy the Salmon! 😍

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. Events like these remind us how lucky we are to serve such a wonderful community.

Until next year, Salmon Days! 💙

🛍️ The Tavon crew spent an afternoon exploring North Bend Premium Outlets, and honestly, we can't decide what we liked better... the sweet deals in the stores or the incredible mountain views from the parking lot! ⛰️😄

From shopping to spending time together, it was a great day full of fun, friendship, and community.

What's your pick: the bargains or the views? 👇💙

🐟 Did you know we'll be at Salmon Days this year?

We're excited to be hosting a booth at the hatchery and sharing a little more about Tavon's mission to build a community where everyone feels included, supported, and valued.

Stop by to say hello, learn about what we do, and connect with our team. We'd love to meet you, answer your questions, and talk about why inclusion matters. Plus, you'll have a chance to win some fun Tavon swag! 🎉

Will we see you there? 👀

🍂☀️ Soaking up the crisp fall weather and making memories together! Our members have been enjoying outings to local favorites like Pine Lake Park and Bellevue Botanical Garden. 🍁🌿

From peaceful walks and colorful autumn leaves to sharing laughs with friends, every adventure is a chance to connect with nature and our community. There's nothing better than fresh air, great company, and the beauty of the season all around us. ❤️

We were also so excited to see that local wildlife has already started decorating for spooky season, which is tied with Christmas for our favorite time of year! 🕸️🕷️👻

From rocking out and making music 🎸 to getting spooky and scaring Tavon staff 👻, our members had an unforgettable day at MoPOP last Friday!

We had so much fun exploring Seattle Center, trying new experiences, and enjoying lunch together at the Armory. Days like these are all about adventure, creativity, and making memories with friends. ✨

Our crew had an absolute blast training with the amazing team at True Martial Arts Sammamish! From learning new moves to testing out our coordination (and maybe our self-control 😅), everyone had a fantastic time.

We're especially grateful those sticks were soft because otherwise Evan, our fearless Black Nugget site manager, might not have made it out in one piece! 🥷😂

Thank you, True Martial Arts, for creating such a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering experience for our members. We can't wait to come back! 💙🥋

The smiles say it all! 🎉

We had an incredible time hosting our annual Community Festival! Highlights included live music, delicious food, fun games, creative activities, and hundreds of moments of connection between friends old and new.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, performers, community partners, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Together, we created a day full of joy, belonging, and community spirit.

Last Friday, Tavon members spent the day at the Sammamish Animal Sanctuary and truly got in touch with nature! 🐐🐓🌿

From meeting amazing animals to enjoying the peaceful surroundings, the smiles, laughter, and connections made throughout the day were unforgettable.
