Firefighters of First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services would like to welcome aboard our newest member, FF/EMT William Campbell. FF Campbell comes to FCNF&ES from Fort Belvoir Professional Fire Fighters IAFF F-273, Virginia, were he has worked the previous 11 years. Born and raised in Virginia, FF Campbell was also a volunteer firefighter from 2003 to 2017. He brings 23 years of experience to our department. FF Campbell is married with three kids. He is assigned to Group 1 Tower 131, Station 1 "Yorktown Express", NAS Jacksonville.

Weekend lightening strikes start brush fires on and off base over the weekend, Firefighters of First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services responded to two separate brush fires. Saturday, FCNF&ES were dispatched for a smoke condition northwest of the airfield. C103 confirmed the fire was in the Timuquana Country Club. E121 responded and assisted JFRD. Sunday, FCNF&ES were dispatched after an afternoon thunderstorm to the NAS Jacksonville S***t Club area for a brush fire. Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department Tanker 52, Firehouse 52, was requested to assist with water supply.

Firefighters of First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services would like to welcome aboard our newest firefighter. FF/EMT-B Caleb Morin comes to FCNF&ES from Fort Stwart Fire & Emergency Service. Prior, FF Morin worked at MCD Parris Island Fire & Emergency Services. FF Morin proudly served our nation for 10 years, with duty stations at Fort Polk, Fort Rucker, and Fort Stewart. FF Morin has been married for 18 years and has five kids who keep him busy. He is currently assigned to Group 4 Station 1 "Yorktown Express"

Last night, Firefighters of First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services T131 "Yorktown Express " assisted Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department with a vehicle verses a train. Luckily there were minor injuries. Additional, in the early am hours, T131 assisted Clay County Fire Rescue and Orange Park Fire Department with a residential fire.

Busy morning for Firefighters of First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services. Just before 10 am, T131, "Yorktown Express", responded to assist Orange Park Fire Department and Clay County Fire Rescue with a residential structure fire. Upon being released, T131 responded for an EMS call in the Town of Orange Park. Shortly after, T131, responded with Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department, for a motor vehicle accident on Roosevelt Blvd near I295. FCNF&ES are always ready to respond onboard NAS Jacksonville and to assist our mutual aid partners, Orange Park Firefighters Local 2668 and Clay County Professional Firefighters.

Today, Fire Chief Mark Brusoe had the honor of promoting Firefighters of First Coast Navy Fire & Emergency Services newest Lt. Jason Lynn. Lt. Lynn has been with FCNF&ES for 16 years. Prior to his start in 2010, Lt. Lynn served in the United States Army. He also served 6 years with the Florida National Guard. Lt. Lynn is now assigned to Station 2, Group 4, NAS Jacksonville. Best of luck with your new position!
