Paleontology day was awesome!
Toddlers rescued trapped dinosaurs from under the tables.
Pre-k excavated dinosaurs from blocks of ice.
K - 2nd made dinosaur bookmarks.
3rd - 5th made dinosaur grid drawings!
The older two groups also learned about real paleontologist, Mary Anning, and learned about the meaning of dinosaur names.

The teens made petroglyphs (and some other things) out of air dry clay!

Don't forget, today's activity is for teens! Youths in 6th through 12th grade are welcome to learn a little bit about rock art and to try their hand at creating their own. Join us today at 1:00!

Today was another great day at the library! Toddlers learned about plants and made sensory flowers.
PreK made nature collages!
K -2nd learned about the awesome power of earthquakes and tried to create earthquake-proof structures from marshmallows and toothpicks.
3rd - 5th learned about natural formations like chasms and canyons though poetry, and they folded blooming poem flowers.
