This , WDVA would like to highlight QPR Training Opportunities - known better as Question, Persuade, Refer. It is a specialized training that teaches how to recognize the warning signs of su***de in someone and get them the professional help they need.

WDVA remains vigilant and committed to education and prevention of veteran su***des in our state. Our Veteran Outreach and Recovery Program (VORP) continues to offer Wisconsin organizations the opportunity to partner with VORP and hold QPR Training opportunities throughout the state.

These training opportunities are open to veterans groups, medical facilities, schools, government entities, and others interested in learning more about effective su***de prevention. Participants will earn a QPR Gatekeepers Certificate.

⭐To find out more information, ask questions, or to schedule a training session with your organization, please contact Cal Stammer at [email protected]. More information on VORP can be found here: https://dva.wi.gov/services/mental-health-and-emergency-services/veterans-outreach-and-recovery/
