25 years...An entire generation has passed since the tragic action that took 2977 innocent lives and forever changed the US and global landscape. We reflect today on what it means to be an American and remember those lost on that tragic day. We stand together, stronger than ever, united by our sense of patriotism and duty to protect freedom and democracy around the world.

Awards and promotions!
The Dragonslayers 🐉⚡️ had a great quarter! We had the privilege to award The Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal to AT1 Saunders and AT2 Metcalf, as well as frocking AM2 Ugarte, AM1 Gaces, and ADCS Tobos to the next rank!

Congratulations to all awardees and slay on!!!

HSC-11 participated in shooting a joint promo for the America 250 Grand Prix! The military salute covered Slayer 11 infiltrating EOD to secure a beach head prior to an LCAC landing (1:29). Shout out to everyone involved!

Maintenance Monday!
Today we shout out our maintenance department and all they do to make the squadron function. Every time the pilots walk out to fly, there are teams of maintainers all of whom are shedding blood, sweat, and tears to make that possible.

SAILORS FIRST SUNDAY: BZ to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 11 and Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Isaiah Martinez for showcasing the MH-60S Seahawk during the International Naval Review 250 flyover in New York on July 4.

INR 250 combined public engagement with visible maritime presence, allowing the American public to connect with Sailors while also demonstrating the Navy’s readiness, forward posture, and ability to operate with Allies and partners.

IAR 250 and our time in New York City comes to a close! We see the pilots and aircrew flying, but it also takes a dedicated, well trained, team of maintenance, supply, and admin personnel to be the foundation and get the mission done. Together we make it happen!

This past weekend we had some motivated Dragon Slayers🐉⚡️volunteer their time to help cleanup the local Oceanview Beach! They braved a cold weekend to help ensure our community has a beautiful beach to enjoy this summer and for many to come!!
