Did you know? Ottoville’s fire department was organized in 1892. At first, it was basically a bucket brigade. Later in the year, they bought a used horse drawn hand pumper with 250 feet of hose.

Since 1959, Ohioans have been hiking on the Buckeye Trail, which covers 1400 miles throughout the state. Buckeyetrail.org offers plans for hiking sections of the Buckeye Trail, as well as backpacking hikes. Have you ever tried the Buckeye Trail? Which part would you like to try first?
