Had a great time at National Night Out Events all over the city on Tuesday. Love to see Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, and residents celebrating together in the neighborhoods where they live and work. Thank you to everyone who makes these events possible! Also got to check the age of this fire truck in Beechview – it’s 19, old enough to vote! – and talked with Pittsburgh Fire Fighters about the urgent need to invest in our aging fleet and break the private equity monopoly on the fire truck manufacturing industry.
