The Washington Harbour’s Waterfront Movie Series returns this summer, beginning Friday, July 24. All movies begin at 7pm and are free! Grab dinner or drinks beforehand, then head to Georgetown Waterfront park with a blanket or lawn chair to claim your spot and enjoy a summer movie with waterfront views.

Parking is available in the Washington Harbour Garage at a reduced rate when you scan the QR code on the Eventbrite page.

The National Building Museum is teaming up with Hoopbus, an international nonprofit that uses basketball to uplift communities and create opportunity, for a multi-day pop-up tour in DC neighborhoods across all eight wards.

The mobile basketball court – a retrofitted school bus with hoops on both sides of the bus – will be pulling up to Georgetown on Sunday, July 12 from 9 am - 10 am. Stop by the parking lot at 3290 M St NW (across the street from Georgetown Cupcake) and take part in community basketball games and family friendly activities.

Later that day, the tour will return to the National Building Museum, where visitors can participate in additional programming.

🎶 What started in France more than 40 years ago has grown into a global celebration of music in over 1,000 cities around the world.

Known as Fête de la Musique (Make Music Day), this annual event transforms streets, parks, storefronts, rooftops, and public spaces into stages where anyone can perform and everyone is invited to enjoy free live music.

We're excited to bring this tradition back to Georgetown for the third year! 🎉

Join the Georgetown BID, Georgetown Heritage Arts, and Villa Albertine for Fête de la Musique – Make Music Day on Saturday, June 20.
