Today is a big day for Meridian scholar and athlete, Josiah Garris who will be racing in the 2024 New Balance National Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Josiah will compete against sprint the best from all over the nation and makes Meridian history as our first student athlete to ever qualify for for this national meet. Josiah is also the only middle school athlete from Washington, D.C. competing today. Please send good vibes and well wishes to Josiah’s way. We are so proud of all that he has accomplished and what’s to come!

Join us for epic games, a game truck, delicious food, music, raffles, and more! Also, be sure to stop by our community resources tables featuring organizations like YMCA, Hillcrest. Please join us this Saturday at our campuses. Be ready for a great time and hope to see you there!
