Center City Public Charter Schools Center City PCS has 6 campuses throughout Washington, D.C.: Brightwood, Capitol Hill, Congress Heights, Petworth, Shaw and Trinidad.

Center City PCS teaches a broad liberal arts and humanities curriculum to students in PreKindergarten through Eighth Grade. We believe, teach, and live Character, Excellence, and Service. As a part of our commitment to enhancing the educational experience, Center City PCS is thrilled to announce the opening of its new Makerspace for the 2024-2025 school year.

There are six dedicated labs at The Makerspace, where students can dive into hands-on projects and collaborate with peers to invent, create and iterate with the guidance and support of specialized lab coordinators.

The Center City PCS Petworth campus hosted a collaborative 8th Grade Day of Community Service. The students earned two hours of SERVICE and were able to pack over 175 lunches that will be donated to our local homeless shelters!

The students did an amazing job and we are so proud of them! We hope to continue to engage our students in experiences that reinforce the CCPCS Character, Excellence and Service Values!

The Center City PCS 8th Grade Luncheon was a special event held to celebrate the achievements and successes of the graduating 8th-grade students. During the luncheon, students were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout their time at Center City PCS.

Students were presented with certificates of achievement and awards for various categories such as academic excellence, leadership, community service, and overall growth. Way to go scholars!

All Center City campuses will be closed for Spring Break on Monday April 15th to Friday April 19th. Please note that Monday, April 19th is an asynchronous learning day. Students will receive packets before leaving for spring break. They will be required to return the completed packet within three days of returning to school after the break.
