War crimes must be investigated. We need the full truth about what happened, including the role AI played and why officials were ordered to move at extraordinary speed without verifying intelligence.

My first reactions after going inside the Dilley ICE detention center and speaking directly with people who’ve been detained.

Children are being traumatized with your tax dollars so that private prison giant CoreCivic can make even more money. Nobody at the facility has any sort of criminal record whatsoever.

I just arrived in Texas for a congressional oversight visit led by Democratic Women’s Caucus and Rep. Joaquin Castro.

Tomorrow, we’re heading to the Dilley ICE detention center—the nation’s only dedicated family immigration detention center.

This will be my 12th oversight visit to an ICE detention facility. Dilley is operated by CoreCivic, the same private prison company that runs the Eloy Detention Center in Arizona, where I’ve witnessed horrific conditions firsthand.

I won’t be allowed to bring my phone inside, but I’ll be documenting everything I can throughout the day and reporting back on what we see and hear.
