FOUND!!
What a happy ending! Last week, Sunnie escaped her carrier in the BDL parking garage. After many set traps, circulating posts, and eyes on the property looking for Sunnie, she never turned up.

Well; that’s because she hitched a ride in someone’s car engine compartment, where she was discovered all the way down in Norwich! The driver of the car was talking to a friend about the cat that hopped out of her car, and her friend had seen all the posts online about Sunnie being missing and they knew what to do! Today, Sunnie has been reunited with her family after getting the grand tour of CT.

Thank you to everyone who was vigilant, physically at the location as well as spreading the information online. Sunnie was a long way from home and a long way from where she was last seen. She has been reunited with her family thanks to the swift action of our community. Thanks, all! We’re thrilled this had a happy ending! 🥹

I’m not crying, you are (ok, it’s me, I’m crying)!

Roger is a long-term resident at CCC that came in with a raging ‘tude. But Roger had people in his corner from the very beginning who refused to give up on him. And now, we have THIS. Roger is now a purring puddle of love, and we can hardly believe he is the same cat we posted all that time ago! 🤎

To be loved, is to be changed, and we’ve loved helping Roger learn to trust people, feel safe, and appreciate the sweet sweet feeling of head scratches… 😭🥳

Thistle is back 😔

It happens, but after communication with Thistle’s adopter, it was decided that it was in Thistle’s best interest to come back to us. So now Thistle is here, waiting to find her forever home again.😢

Thistle is a spunky little gal, and will need a patient adopter willing to work at her pace to get her through that final stretch toward being pettable, but Thistle shows us every day how ready she is to get there 🥹

Surprise! 🥹 We had two litters born these past few days! (In case you didn’t catch it the first hundred times we’ve said it, did you hear it’s a crazy kitten season!?😜)
