Access to electricity is opening new possibilities for rural communities across Belize.
With support from the through Global Gateway, Belize Electricity Limited is gradually expanding energy access in Indian Church and San Carlos in the Orange Walk District, and in Jalacte, San Vicente, and San Benito Poite in the Toledo District.
Together, these efforts will help bring reliable electricity and renewable energy solutions to at least 2000 people, supporting families, students, businesses, health centers, schools, and public services in communities where electricity was not available before.
