Join Rainbow Resource Centre on Sunday, June 7 as we march together in the Winnipeg Pride Parade. We will be gathering at 514 St Mary Ave between 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM. Pick up a free Rainbow t-shirt while supplies last and carry signs created by community during our Pride sign-making event. Marching together is a powerful reminder that visibility, solidarity, and belonging are created collectively, one step at a time. Washrooms will be open until 10:30 AM at 514 St Mary Ave. We will walk together to the staging area at the Legislative Grounds at 10:30 AM.

To ensure you and your pals have a good time, Rainbow has put together the following information for safety and wellness during the parade.

What to Bring: A Buddy/Friend, Water and Snacks, Supportive Signs/Flags/etc., Sunscreen and Hat, Comfortable Shoes (closed toes recommended), Mobility Assistive Devices that allow you to enjoy the day (e.g. cane, walker, wheelchair, etc.). Rainbow will also be bringing snacks, water, signs, masks, naloxone and first aid supplies in clear backpacks and wagon.

If you see Hateful Protestors, do not approach, shout at, or give attention to protestors spreading hate. If a protester is provoking you, we encourage you to ignore and walk away. If a protester displays weapons, immediately call emergency services (911).

Please follow the marching route event organizers have designated. If they are marching on the sidewalk, stay on the sidewalk. If they are marching on the road, stay on the road.
