The theme of tomorrow's free drop-in Lego workshop at Goole Museum is 'Lego Locomotives’. As it's Goole's bicentenary year, our workshop leader Lego Ken will help participants re-create some of Goole’s historic locos, trains and railways. Come along 10:30am-2:30pm and get building!

Goole Museum currently has no less than three exhibitions on show! Each focusses on a different aspect of Goole's history: Master of the Masts looks at the life and work of Goole's pierhead painter Reuben Chappell, Goole Unboxed explores the history of the town through archives, while The Beatles Pop Up tells the story of the Fab Four's infamous encounter in the town. We also have a brand new sculpture 'Where Ships Rest', which has been specially commisioned and created to celebrate Goole's Bicentenary.

A new exhibition for Sewerby Hall: Plants, Trees and the Country House is now open and will run until 20th September. The exhibition is an exploration of the development of Sewerby's award-winning gardens through the lens of the estate's historic head gardeners over two centuries.
