The amazing team at Pacific Kids Learning ran Round 2 of their Culture in Motion activation right here at Te Puna Creative Hub — and WOW.

Seeing our Pacific rangatahi explore their cultures, languages, and stories through cutting-edge tools like Pasifika VR and digital animation was impressive.

🎭 From wānanga to paid internship 🔧

After running our Venue Technician wānanga, Te Puna Creative Academy & Te Pou Theatre are excited to offer a 12-week paid Venue Technician Pia for Māori wanting to step into theatre tech as a viable career.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a live theatre environment, build confidence with tools and equipment, work at height, and be supported through regular mentorship check-ins.

🔹 $25/hr | 28 hrs per week

🔹 Live theatre tech + mentorship
