The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) was created through an Act of Parliament, the Swaziland Investment Promotion Act of 1998 and was formally launched in April of the same year. EIPA's mandate is to promote both local and international trade and investment in Eswatini by positioning Eswatini as an investment destination of choice. The Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) hosted delegates from the European Union (EU) and the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) . The main objective was to learn about and tour the facility in Mbabane. Initially supported by the European Union through the International Trade Centre ( ITC) the BOSS highlighted the impact of the strong partnership between the Government of Eswatini and the European Union in advancing investment facilitation and improving the ease of doing business in the country.

During the tour, led by the CEO of Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority, delegates were briefed on the work and operations of BOSS, as well as the progress made through EU-supported initiatives. The CEO further highlighted key gains realised through the partnership, including support towards the development of the Investment Policy and broader efforts aimed at strengthening Eswatini’s investment climate. The EU Head of Delegation to Eswatini H.E emphasized the importance of the BOSS in delivering efficient public services.

The delegates also had an opportunity to engage directly with officers stationed at the facility and appreciate the collaborative service delivery model that continues to position BOSS as a key enabler for investors and businesses in Eswatini.
