The country’s seasonal rainfall forecast update for winter 2026 show a generally
normal forecast with a bias of Above-Normal Rainfall over most parts of the country
during the May - July 2026 period. Temperatures for the same period are likely to be
Above-Normal at night (Minimum) ranging between averages of 5˚C to 15˚C and
Above-Normal during the day (Maximum) hovering between averages of 20˚C to 28˚C.
A National perspective forecast is presented below for the May-June-July (MJJ period.
