GCCARD’s 27th Annual Walk for Warmth was amazing this year!! From the Mott Middle/Boys and Girls Club Steel Drum band to our spoken word piece performed by our very own Yashira Jenkins and the performance by our Alpha Esquires...they were all great! We promoted awareness for individuals facing heat-related emergencies throughout our community by walking from Saginaw/University Ave. to Nolen Dr. early this morning. The breakfast bar was great and everyone had a great time and got great information from our vendors/sponsors. If anyone has pictures please send them to me. Thanks to everyone that came out or donated and if you didn’t make it out this year we hope to see you next year 😊
