There are two projects starting in Davison Township next week.

CN will be making repairs to the railroad crossing on Irish Rd. Wednesday, August 26 through Saturday, September 5.

GCRC will begin construction on Lapeer Rd. between M-15 and the CL Ward driveway on Thursday, August 27. One way westbound traffic will be maintained.

Both detours utilize Davison Rd. and Gale Rd. Please see the map below or our website for more information.

Update: The project on on Lahring Rd. between Linden Rd. and Ripley Rd. will begin on Wednesday, August 26.

Tuesday closures:

Deland Rd. between Coldwater Rd. and Stanley Rd. will be closed for milling.

Coldwater Rd. between Belsay Rd. and Vassar Rd. will be closed for a cross culvert replacement.

The following roads will be closed for fog seal operations:

• Carpenter Rd. between Belsay Rd. and Vassar Rd.
• Crosby Rd. between Center Rd. and Genesee Rd.
• Bray Rd. between Coldwater Rd. and Mt. Morris Rd.
• Stanley Rd. between M-15 and Oak Rd.

A contractor will be paving Irish Rd. between Atherton Rd. and Lippincott Blvd. today. The road will be open with flaggers controlling traffic.

The roundabout at Fenton Rd. & Baldwin Rd. is now open!

Stanley Rd,. between Dort Hwy. and Saginaw Rd., is currently closed for railroad crossing repairs. The work is expected to be completed on Monday, August 17. The detour takes drivers from Dort Hwy. to Coldwater Rd. to Saginaw Rd. and vice versa.

Irish Rd. between Perry Rd. and Jordan Rd. will be closed to pave over a recently replaced cross culvert.

Oak Rd. between Clark Rd. and Richfield Rd. will be closed for limestone resurfacing.

Lobdell Rd. between Linden Rd. and Whitaker Rd. will be closed to apply a soil stabilizer.

Fenton Rd. between Ray Rd. and Baldwin Rd. will be closed for ditching.

The following roads will be closed for chip seal:

• Lahring Rd. between Seymour Rd. and Linden Rd.
• Main Rd. between Thompson Rd. and North Long Lake Rd.
• Brewer Rd. between Grand Blanc Rd. and Reid Rd.
