2. Primary roads (denoted in pink on the map)
3. Local roads (denoted in green on the map)

GCRC is saddened to hear about the passing of Commissioner Nolden. We offer his family our condolences.
The Flint community has lost one of our most steadfast advocates today. Bryant “BB” Nolden embodied community service. His journey from educator to public servant to non-profit leader impacted thousands of people throughout our community; most importantly, our youth. While his absence will be deeply felt across Flint, we will not forget the passion and spirit that he shared with us.
The flags at Flint City Hall will be lowered to half-staff for the remainder of this week in BB's honor.

New Green LED Lighted Sticks added to GCRC Snow Plows for Your Safety The Genesee County Road Commission would like to remind everyone that your safety is our #1 goal during these cold winter months. That is why we have equipped our snow plow trucks with the newest technology to help improve our visibility when we are plowing snow covered roads. We have added a 4 foot long GREEN LED Lighted Stick to the end of our wing plows. The new stick lights are 48 inches long and vertical, compared to our old lights that were 5 inches long and horizontal. By adding an additional 43 inches of lighting to the end of the plow, we will increase the visibility of our wing plows. When you are approaching our plow trucks and you see this 4 foot long light stick, please be aware that we are plowing 2 lanes of road when using a wing plow. We recommend you stay a safe distance behind our plow trucks when the wing plow is down. Please remember our trucks’ maximum speed limit is 25 MPH while plowing the roads. At this speed it allows us to safely operate our machinery and clear the roads faster. Please be patient and DO NOT PASS our plow trucks on the right hand side. Thank you.
