UPDATE: The Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been lifted.
⚠️ PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ORDER
Genesee County Drain Commissioner’s Office, Division of Water and Waste Services (GCDC–WWS) discovered an equipment failure causing low pressure in some localized watermains in Genesee County. Water pressure and flow were restored immediately. A precautionary boil order has been issued for the affected area, stretching from northern Grand Blanc Township into the southern portion of the City of Burton.
DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.
