Verona PD released a statement today that Halla E Nelson was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault of Student by Staff. They are not releasing any further information, and I don't have any for you all either, yet.

Update: The Sharlow brothers jury trial is currently happening and has been for two weeks now. They have been investigating these two, and many of their associates for over a decade, and finally arrested them in November of 2025, one for a homicide that had occurred in 2017, and the other for a homicide from 2016.
It appears that these two may have been acting on behalf of a gang, to which they have familial ties to leadership.

The court case has been full of drama:
➡️ Hostile witnesses
➡️ Refusal to show up/Contempt of Court
➡️ Warrants issued
➡️ Arrests made
➡️ Witnesses yelling
➡️ Spectators being kicked out of the courtroom, and barred from returning
➡️ Video and audio recordings from the last decade, where revelations are made that caused audible reactions from observers
➡️ Names being dropped left, right, sideways
➡️ Murders being discussed with the various possible players being called out by name

My hunch: this is all connected to what has been happening over the last few days. I don’t have any solid proof of this, and I’m not saying definitively that I’m right…. But Dane County, either I’m right, and you’ve got a problem. Or I’m wrong, and you’ve still got a problem.

Follower messaged in about a hit and run in Fitchburg on Traceway Drive. Black or Blue Chevy truck with decals and ladders on the top. Follower says police were notified, and the vehicle took off on Post Rd, towards Fish Hatch.
