Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment trained at Bemowo Piskie, building from team live fire to squad-level maneuver through woods, high grass, and limited visibility.

Day and night iterations tested communication, maneuver, decision-making, and the ability to engage targets in wooded terrain under changing conditions.

The exercise reinforced a core principle of readiness: strong squads are built from strong teams, and units must be prepared to operate anywhere, anytime.

Multi-Domain Command-Europe launched high-altitude balloons and dispatched recovery teams in Powidz, Poland, during exercise Cold Raptor.

The mission gave Soldiers hands-on experience launching, tracking, and operating tactical balloons in a European environment while refining the procedures they will use during future missions.

Soldiers with the 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, assembled, checked, and tested the AEVEX ATLAS unmanned aircraft system in Grafenwoehr, Germany, giving them a chance to evaluate how emerging drone capabilities could fit into future operations.

Across USAREUR-AF, Soldiers are getting hands on with emerging systems, testing what works, adjusting in real time, and helping shape how the Army fights next.

Pegnitz Mayor Wolfgang Nierhoff and Col. David Henderson, commander of the 41st Field Artillery Brigade, were joined by Soldiers stationed in Grafenwoehr, Hohenfels, and Ansbach, along with members of the local community, to honor 37 fallen Soldiers during a memorial service in Pegnitz, Germany.

The ceremony remembered the service members from 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, and 4th Aviation Company, 15th Aviation Group, who died in a 1971 Chinook CH-47 crash near Pegnitz. More than five decades later, the memorial remains a solemn reminder that service and sacrifice are not forgotten.

U.S. Army Europe and Africa, alongside NATO Allies and partners, supported Polish Armed Forces Day in Warsaw as Poland honored the anniversary of its 1920 victory in the Battle of Warsaw.

Soldiers and equipment from the NATO Forward Land Forces Battle Group-Poland took part in the commemoration, reflecting shared purpose and continued support for security in the region.

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, working with partners from the Uniformed Services University, the National Institute for Defense Health Cooperation, and U.S. Africa Command, hosted a Fundamentals of Global Health Engagements course at Ramstein Air Base.

Nearly 60 military and civilian medical professionals from across the joint force took part in the five-day course, learning how to plan, execute, monitor, and assess health engagements in complex regional environments.

The goal was simple: build a stronger bench of professionals, ready to support future medical cooperation and readiness efforts across Europe and Africa.

How does a Fire Support Team assist artillery training?

At Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, trained with M109 Paladins while forward observers tracked impacts, called corrections, and helped guide rounds onto targets nearly 10 kilometers away.

That is what makes artillery work. The gun line delivers the round, but the Fire Support Team provides the eyes, the adjustments, and the communication that turn long-range fire into accurate effects.

British Army Light Dragoons also joined the training, adding another layer of shared learning between Allied fire supporters.

Soldiers from the 353rd Civil Affairs Command and 603rd Military Police Company brought Army equipment to the Võru Children's Festival, giving families in Estonia a hands-on look at specialized gear.

From sitting inside a Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected vehicle to trying on protective equipment and operating the Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station, the event gave local families a memorable experience while creating space for Soldiers to build relationships and strengthen ties with the community.
