Building Awareness, Strengthening Tourism Services 🌴
The Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards (SLBS) was pleased to participate in the Public Liability Insurance and Tourism Service Standards Sensitization Workshop, held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Orchid Conference Room, Union.
As part of the workshop, SLBS facilitators Ms. Kensha Neptune and Mr. Andre Charles led a sensitization session on Tourism Service Standards, engaging participants in discussions and a Q&A focused on the importance of standards in delivering consistent, quality services within Saint Lucia’s tourism sector.
The workshop also provided valuable insights into Public Liability Insurance, helping participants better understand the importance of anticipating risks and being prepared to protect their businesses, customers and stakeholders.
Through initiatives like these, SLBS continues to support awareness, quality improvement and the application of standards across key sectors, contributing to a stronger and more resilient tourism industry.
