: The Hoba Meteorite is considered one of the most scientifically valuable meteorites. If it could be sold as a whole specimen, its value could be estimated in the tens of millions of dollars. However, it is protected and not for sale.
The Hoba Meteorite is the largest known meteorite ever found on Earth's surface. Located in Namibia, it weighs around 60 tonnes and is composed mainly of iron and nickel. Scientists believe it fell about 80,000 years ago. Remarkably, it remained largely intact on impact, making it one of the world's most famous and significant meteorites.....
