Namibia has climbed from 15th place in 2025 to 3rd place in the 2026 Africa Top-Performing Countries Ranking, making it the most improved country in this year's assessment.

This recognition reflects Namibia's strengths in good governance, political stability, responsible economic management and sustainable development, reinforcing our position as a preferred destination to Live, Invest, Develop and Visit.

𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗙 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁

Namibia has officially been removed from the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Grey List after successfully addressing all 13 identified deficiencies related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing measures.

This achievement marks an important milestone for the country, strengthening Namibia’s international reputation and reinforcing confidence in its financial system.

The removal from the Grey List is expected to improve the ease of doing business, attract greater foreign investment, and enhance access to international financial markets and financing opportunities.
