I’m proud to share that $33,789,427 in Capital Improvement Program funding has been released for the New Central Maui Elementary and Middle School. 🏫🌺

These funds will support the design and construction of this much needed new school, helping address the continued growth of Central Maui and investing in the future of our keiki and families.

Mahalo, Governor Josh Green, for releasing these funds and for your continued partnership and commitment to Maui. I look forward to seeing this important project move forward for our community! 🤙🏼

I’m proud to share that $40 million in CIP funding has been released for Honoapiʻilani Highway improvements from Milepost 10.5 to Milepost 17.0 on Maui.

🎉🎂 It was a pleasure celebrating six birthdays today at the Kaunoa Senior Center! Wishing each of our birthday celebrants a year filled with good health, happiness, and many blessings. 🌺 I always enjoy spending time with our kūpuna, talking story, sharing laughs, and hearing the wisdom and experiences they have to offer. Mahalo to everyone at Kaunoa for the warm hospitality and for all you do to support our seniors. ❤️

Wishing you a wonderful year ahead as you represent our island with grace, humility, and aloha. I know you’ll be an outstanding ambassador for Maui and an inspiration to many young women in our community.

It was great to be out in the community today walking in the King Kamehameha Day Parade and celebrating the legacy of King Kamehameha.

Mahalo to everyone who participated, volunteered, and came out to support this special event. A big mahalo to our volunteers from Iao School student council who walked with us today! It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and spending time with friends and neighbors from across Maui.

Had a great time at Wailuku Elementary School’s 4th Annual Lokahi Day! 🌺

The students took us on a journey around the world with incredible performances celebrating the cultures and dances of Hawaiʻi, Japan, New Zealand, and the Philippines. 🌎👏🏼
