Mosquito Spraying - August 27, 2026

Mosquito spraying will be conducted on Thursday, August 27th , around dusk continuing for several hours into the night.

The areas treated will include the entire west side of Perkiomen Avenue, including the Pathfinder Meadows developments, as well as the Kerr Road development on the east side of the Township.

The truck mounted, ultra-low volume (ULV) mosquito control operation will be conducted by Exeter Township. Mosquito traps in these areas showed high numbers of adult mosquitoes with positive West Nile Virus results.

Calling all Exeter Township residents who run, walk, bike, and/or paddle along the Schuylkill River and Schuylkill River Trail!

From August 15 through October 11, SRG is hosting the Stewardship Trail Challenge, a community-wide event that encourages participants to log their miles along the Schuylkill River and Schuylkill River Trail while raising funds for the SRG Stewardship Fund. This fund provides a sustainable source of revenue to support large-scale trail maintenance projects.

Every mile you run, ride or paddle between August 15 and October 11 can help protect the river and trail you love.

While we’re sad to see summer coming to an end, that means planning has begun for our fall and winter events! 🍂❄️

If you know of any businesses, organizations, or groups that would like to volunteer on the hayride trail or set up a vendor tent at our event, please reach out to the Recreation Department.

A big thank you to Officers Cloen and Grycon for visiting us at the Dunn Center today during our Playground Program! 🚓

Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the equipment officers use while on duty, and get a closer look at the important work they do in our community. We appreciate them taking the time to spend the day with us and create such a fun and educational experience!

Summer Yoga Series begins this Wednesday at the Dunn Community Center!

Yoga Class Summer Series-
