Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub mass shooting. We remember the 49 lives that were tragically cut short, and honor the countless others that were forever changed by gun violence and hate.

On this solemn anniversary, we are reminded of our commitment to building a safer, more inclusive future where every person can live openly, authentically, and without fear.

Thank you Governor Gavin Newsom for your leadership in securing $46M to address the ongoing water quality issues caused by raw sewage, trash and other harmful pollutants from the Tijuana River Crisis.

California is deploying $46 million to help address the Tijuana River and protect border communities.

For too long, San Diego families have paid the price for Trump's failure to fix the federal infrastructure behind this contamination.

The feds must keep doing their part.

Honored to welcome Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, მაკა ბოჭორიშვილი / Maka Botchorishvili, along with Deputy Foreign Minister Khatuna Totladze and Ambassador to the United States თამარ ტალიაშვილი / Tamar Taliashvili, to the Golden State.

We discussed the launch of Georgia’s new Innovation Hub in San Francisco and the country’s growing presence in California’s technology and innovation ecosystem. This milestone marks an exciting new chapter in the partnership between Georgia and California.

Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

We honor the lives lost by gun violence and raise awareness of the epidemic that takes nearly 130+ lives every day, which is roughly 47,000 lives yearly. Thoughts and prayers are not enough – this ongoing tragedy of gun violence must come to an end.
