Today in Fairfield: the Common Circles exhibit, “Moving to Understand Ourselves and Others?”

It starts simple — photos of people described as funny, loyal, curious, resilient. Then you learn who they are: neighbors, Holocaust survivors, liberators, public figures. All in the same frame. All human first.

Then the history hits. A map of 44,000+ N**i camps and ghettos across Europe. By 1945, two out of every three European Jews were murdered. Survivor testimonies placed right where it happened.

Empathy first, history second — and it doesn’t let you look away.

Grateful this work is happening in our community.
