This May 2026 is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, honoring the history, cultural contributions, and various leadership roles of the AAPI communities across the US.
It also serves as a reminder that fair housing belongs to everyone.
Housing discrimination can take many forms, including unfair housing practices based on race, national origin, and language. Everyone deserves equal access to housing, no matter who they are, where they come from, or what language they speak.
This month, we honor AAPI communities by working toward housing free of discrimination for everyone.
Arizona community spotlight: The City of Chandler is hosting its Asian American Community Connection event on Tuesday, May 12, from 4:45 to 8 p.m. at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center.
