🇲🇦Moroccan Community Gathering in Helsinki Marking the
Revolution of the King and the People and Youth Day.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Helsinki brought together members of the Moroccan community in Finland and Estonia to commemorate the Revolution of the King and the People and Youth Day.
The gathering reflected on the historical significance of the Revolution of the King and the People, symbolizing the unity between the Throne and the people in Morocco's struggle for independence, while highlighting the role of youth in shaping the country's present and future.
Ambassador Mohamed Achgalou recalled the values of national unity, responsibility and commitment embodied by the anniversary. He also highlighted Moroccan youth's achievements in sports, innovation and scientific research, both in Morocco and abroad, under the leadership and continued attention of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The programme included testimonials from Moroccan professionals in Finland and Estonia, recognition of young students for academic and sporting achievements, and an open exchange on strengthening community engagement and communication.
The gathering reinforced ties with Morocco, particularly among younger generations, and encouraged their active, positive participation in their societies of residence.

🇲🇦🇫🇮 A look back to the day celebration of Morocco in Espoo!
On 21 August, Moroccan Day at the Arab Cultural Festival 2026 brought the richness and warmth of Moroccan heritage to life through music, traditional dance, a stunning kaftan show, delicious gastronomy and engaging cultural activities.
A panel discussion explored Moroccan-Finnish relations from a cultural perspective, highlighting the important role of Moroccans in Finland and Finnish visitors to Morocco in building bridges and deepening mutual understanding.
At the heart of the discussion was a shared message: two friendly peoples and two friendly countries continue to strengthen their relationship through trust, respect and meaningful cultural exchange.
Warm thanks to the City of Espoo, the participants, organizers, Moroccans in Finland and everyone who helped make this celebration of culture, community and friendship such a success.
When trust and respect come together, friendships grow stronger. 🇲🇦🤝🇫🇮
