Глава государства выразил признательность чемпионам и призерам, тренерскому штабу и всем специалистам, благодаря которым укрепляется международный авторитет Казахстана как страны, где культивируются национальные виды спорта.

Касым-Жомарт Токаев пожелал нашим спортсменам новых ярких достижений на самых престижных спортивных состязаниях.

🐕Today, Kazakhstan celebrates the first National Day of the Kazakh Tazy and Tobet - two breeds that have accompanied our people across the Great Steppe for centuries.

, one of the seven treasures of Kazakh tradition, embodies agility, strength and loyalty, while the Tobet has long served as a trusted guardian. In 2024, Kazakhstan was officially recognized as the country of origin of the Tazy.

President K.Tokayev places particular emphasis on safeguarding and promoting Kazakhstan’s national breeds. Their protection means preserving a living connection to our history, traditions and respect for nature.

The Tazy and Tobet are more than national breeds, they are a living legacy of the that Kazakhstan is proud to protect and share with the world.

🌎On 29 August 1991, Kazakhstan made a historic decision to close the Semipalatinsk Nuclear Test Site and renounce the nuclear weapons inherited from the Soviet Union.

This courageous step marked Kazakhstan’s commitment to a world free of nuclear weapons and laid the foundation for its longstanding leadership in nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.

Today, 29 August is observed as the International Day against Nuclear Tests.
