📚Literary Event held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland as part of the Nationwide «Reading Nation» initiative

A literary event dedicated to the novel «Akbilek» by Zh.Aimauytov was held at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland. The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland and the «Saule» Cultural Society as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President K.Tokayev «On measures to promote a reading culture and foster a reading nation».

During the event, participants learned about the life and literary legacy of Zh.Aimauytov, an outstanding Kazakh writer, public figure and one of the founders of modern Kazakh prose. Special attention was given to his novel «Akbilek», which is widely regarded as one of the first psychological novels in Kazakh literature and holds a significant place in the nation’s cultural heritage.

As part of the literary evening, participants took part in a collective reading and discussion of the novel. They explored its main storylines and thematic content, and exchanged views on issues such as spiritual resilience, the role of education, the status of women in society and the preservation of national values. In addition, guests participated in a quiz dedicated to the life and works of Zh.Aimauytov.

Events of this kind contribute to the promotion of Kazakh literature abroad, the strengthening of cultural ties, the preservation of historical memory and the enhancement of interest in reading among both compatriots and international audiences. Such initiatives have a positive impact on the moral and spiritual development of society and help showcase Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage on the international stage.

🔹Central Asia and Scandinavia on the Path to Sustainable Cooperation.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Finland Azamat Abdraimov met with Secretary General of the Scandinavian and Central Asian Sustainable Business Association (SCABA) Ilkka Räisänen.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for developing trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Nordic countries, as well as a number of current areas on the bilateral agenda.

The Kazakh diplomat informed his interlocutor about the ongoing economic reforms in the country, measures to improve the investment climate and priorities of state policy in the field of sustainable development. Particular attention was paid to the potential of Kazakhstan as a regional hub for the implementation of joint projects in Central Asia.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue dialogue and promote the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
